Venkatapathi Puvvada to lead Unisys’ Federal Systems Business


BENGALURU, FEB 12:  Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada, a native of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, has been named president of Unisys Federal Systems ation (NYSE: UIS), based in Reston, Virginia. In this role, Puvvada who has served as acting president of Unisys Federal Systems since July 2014, will focus on driving the company’s growth in the federal marketplace by providing innovative solutions in areas such as cloud computing, big data, unified communications, mobile applications, and security.

Unisys is a US headquartered global IT company that solves complex IT challenges at the intersection of modern and mission critical.

Puvvada, who joined Unisys in 1992, had previously served as group vice president for the company’s federal civilian agency business since 2010. From 2005 to 2010, he was managing partner and chief technology officer for Unisys Federal Systems, overseeing the company’s federal solutions portfolio and service delivery excellence.
