Tummala NageswaraRao inducted into Telangana Cabinet



Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Tummala Nageswara Rao, on the lawns of Raj Bhavan appeared to be confined to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti and officials as leaders from none of the Opposition parties were present. He was given the portfolio of Roads and Buildings and also Women and Child Welfare.

Thummala Nageswara Rao was born in Gandugula Palli village of Dammapeta Mandal Khammam District. He served as excise and road and buildings minister in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet has currently taken oath as a minister in KCR's cabinet. He was elected thrice to Assembly from Sathupalli Constituency and once from Khammam. In 2014, he lost to Ajay Kumar Puvvada from Khammam constituency. He had  had recently joined the TRS and he is not a member of either Assembly and legislative council. He was likely to be nominated to the legislative council.
