Justice K.Veeraswamy: Fromer Chief Justice Madras High Court
Justice Kuppuswami Naidu Veeraswamy (Kuppuswami Naidu Veeraswami) was Chief Justice of Madras High Court from 01-05-1969 to 11-03-1976
Born at Srivilliputtur, on April 8, 1914 of respectable parents belonging to a middle class family, the Hon’ble Chief Justice K.Veeraswami had his early education at Sriviliputtur and Devakottai and graduated from the American College at Madurai, with high distinctions in 1937. He took his degree in Law in 1939 from the Law College, Madras. He was an apprentice to Mr.K.Rajah Ayyar, the then Advocate General and after enrolment as an Advocate of the Madras High Court in 1941, he served as his junior till 1950.
He was appointed as the Government Pleader of Madras High Court and in February, 1960 he was elevated as a permanent Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Madras and ha been elevated to be the permanent Chief Justice of Madras High Court from May 1, 1969.
The Then Chief Justice K.Veeraswami was a strict disciplinarian as a Lawyer, Law Officer, Judge and Chief Justice. He maintained the highest dignity and decorum. He was hailed both by the Bar and the Bench for his deep and versatile knowledge of law and he distinguished himself by his forensic ability upright advocacy and objective perspective.

Nirmala Naidoo nominated as federal Liberal candidate
She was nominated on Tuesday by members of the Calgary Rocky Ridge Federal Liberal Association, according to a news release.
“I am thrilled to represent the Liberal Party of Canada in Calgary Rocky Ridge,” Naidoo said in the release.
“Having been in the living rooms of Calgarians for nearly a decade, I believe that Rocky Ridge residents need someone who can hear their concerns, and be their voice in Ottawa. I look forward to the hard work I have ahead of me in 2015 to earn their support.”
Naidoo spent nearly 20 years as an anchor in Calgary with CBC and Global Calgary. She announced her plan to enter federal politics last month.
Venkatadri Bobba joins Cancer Genetics Inc., India’s Board of Directors
Cancer Genetics, provider of DNA-based cancer diagnostics, has announced the addition of Venkatadri Bobba to Cancer Genetics India’s Board of Directors.
“Bobba has a tremendous track record of leadership in the life sciences. His experiences and insights will bring significant value to CG India’s board of directors,” said Panna Sharma, CEO and President of Cancer Genetics.
Bobba has over 36 years of corporate leadership experience in the pharma and life sciences industries, informs a company release. Bobba, who is currently a General Partner with Ventureast, has held executive leadership positions at a number of life sciences companies in the US, EU, and Asia. Prior to joining Ventureast, Bobba served as Senior VP of Operations at Aradigm Corporation and from 2001-2003 was Executive Vice President at Diosynth, a division of Akzo Nobel. From 1995 to 2000, Bobba served as President and CEO at Molecular Biosystems. Previous to that, Bobba was Executive Vice President of Centocor Inc (now Jansen Biotech, a division of Johnson & Johnson) and held several executive positions, including President, at Warner-Lambert, Indonesia. He also previously served as VP of Manufacturing at Parke-Davis, US (now part of Pfizer).

Tummala NageswaraRao inducted into Telangana Cabinet
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Tummala Nageswara Rao, on the lawns of Raj Bhavan appeared to be confined to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti and officials as leaders from none of the Opposition parties were present. He was given the portfolio of Roads and Buildings and also Women and Child Welfare.
Thummala Nageswara Rao was born in Gandugula Palli village of Dammapeta Mandal Khammam District. He served as excise and road and buildings minister in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet has currently taken oath as a minister in KCR's cabinet. He was elected thrice to Assembly from Sathupalli Constituency and once from Khammam. In 2014, he lost to Ajay Kumar Puvvada from Khammam constituency. He had had recently joined the TRS and he is not a member of either Assembly and legislative council. He was likely to be nominated to the legislative council.

Gadde Ruthvika Shivani clinched Tata Open Title
Mumbai: Unseeded junior shuttler Ruthvika Shivani Gadde clinched the women's singles title in the USD 25,000 Tata Open India International Challenge badminton tournament, here on Sunday.
Earlier, rising 17-year-old Hyderabad shuttler Ruthvika, continued her impressive run by stunning fourth seed Arundhati Pantawane, on a comeback trail after a shoulder injury, 19-21 21-18 21-14 in the 50-minute long women's singles final.
It was the second time that Ruthvika had beaten her more experienced rival, having come out trumps in their previous meeting in the senior ranking tournament at Gandhidam in October.

Koneru VenkataRao won the National Bridge Championship Title
The winners’ four-session total was 2599.25, while the runners-up posted 2579.71 (77 top in the final).
This is the seventh NABC title for Krekorian (his second in this contest), and the second national title for Koneru.

PRANITA BALUSU NAMED 2014 U.S. PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLAR
When she was a little girl, Pranita Balusu often dreamt of being a princess when she grew up -- not just for the tiaras and dresses, she said, but so she could improve peoples' lives.
"I still feel the same way," said Pranita, a senior at Rochester High School in Michigan, "from teaching piano (at home) and donating the proceeds to St Jude's (Children's Hospital) to using my third degree black belt in taekwondo for self-defence seminars for at-risk females through my non-profit organisation Build Our Future, I strive to make a difference."
For these and for her efforts through the People to People Student Ambassador Programme, varsity tennis, and the Sunrise Assisted Living Home, she received the Congressional Gold Medal last year.
Her passions are music, baking, and travelling, Pranita said, adding that she lives by the quote, "Climb mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world."
She assists her former taekwondo master, Sensei William Walker, in running the self-defence seminars held in high crime areas of Detroit. So far they have been able to host the seminars -- meant for women -- with money Pranita earned by teaching ACT prep classes.
Over the summer she is planning to expand her organisation Build Our Future to host seminars in neighbouring cities like Flint, and Pontiac, where crime rates are very high and girls and women are very vulnerable.
She is hoping to raise funds from local companies and individuals as sponsors. Each session, consisting of six seminars, costs $1,200 and can train 20 to 40 girls.
"So just a small donation can empower women, enable them to defend themselves," she said, "and instil confidence not just for when they're walking down the street, but in all areas of their lives."
Last April, her piano students competed in the American Guild of Music competitions, and received the highest ratings (AAA).
'I sometimes have a bit of a dramatic flair,' Pranita wrote in a college application essay, 'which is why piano is a perfect fit. I can slam those keys with all the muscular strength in my fingers or caress them, light as feathers. I put all my heart into playing... When I play, any tension is alleviated -- no, obliterated. Music has a curative power that reflects onto listeners, too. I remember watching Alzheimer's patients as they heard the euphony of piano keys. Falling silent, they were motionless at first, almost as if in a trance, but then the most amazing thing happened: they began nodding to the tempo and smiling. Even the ones who could no longer speak were responding to the sound of the music.'
She recalls the day of her most important concerto competition, and how she sat biting her already trimmed nails. The boy next to her told her, 'You're very lucky.' She asked him why. Looking down at her fingers clutching the sheet music, he said, 'Whatever you play will be pretty, just because you can play it.' She then saw he didn't have a hand.
She 'became oblivious to the judges scoring me,' she wrote. 'I played simply because I could.'
Pranita plans to study music and international relations at University of Michigan while majoring in aerospace engineering.
Her passion for music motivates her to excel in studies and other extracurricular activities.
"I will always go back to that one moment, to the boy who didn't have a hand," she said. "I play for him; I play for myself. I even play for my young five-year-old student as he begins his circle of finding true wonderment and joy in music. Within that circle, life is complete."

SATYA NADELLA TO GET $84 MILLION PAY PACKAGE
Microsoft shareholders gave a lukewarm vote of approval Wednesday for CEO Satya Nadella's $84 million (roughly Rs. 520 crores) pay package, after an investor advisory group said the company was paying him too much.
Nadella's pay package puts him among the highest paid CEOs in the country for last year, although his pay as a first-year CEO falls short of the $378 million (roughly Rs. 2,340 crores) that Apple awarded to Tim Cook when he became CEO in 2011. Oracle CEO Larry Ellison was awarded stock options and other pay valued at $67.3 million (roughly Rs. 416 crores) last year. Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was paid only $1.3 million (roughly Rs. 8 crores) in 2013, but he held shares worth nearly $16 billion (roughly Rs. 99,055 crores).
An advisory vote on Microsoft's executive pay program won approval from more than 72 per cent of shareholder votes cast, the company said after its annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday. ISS, which reviews proxy measures for many large companies and criticized Nadella's pay, has said a vote below 70 per cent is an indication that a company should review its policies. The vote fell short of the average support level of 91.5 per cent for executive pay measures at other companies tracked by ISS affiliate, ISS ExecComp Analytics.
By comparison, more than 92 per cent of votes supported the company's slate of directors, who ran without opposition.
That doesn't mean investors are overly concerned, according to Wall Street analysts, who say Nadella is generally viewed as moving Microsoft in the right direction.
"He probably would have taken the job for less, so from that regard they are certainly not exhibiting frugality," at a time when Nadella is overseeing a reorganization that includes cutting 18,000 jobs, said Colin Gillis of BGC Financial. But he also pointed to the 30 per cent increase in Microsoft's stock price this year and said, "I think that's the primary metric most people care about. If you think about the billions in value that's been created, this is a tiny fraction of that."
Most of the meeting was devoted to a recap of Microsoft's business strategy and a discussion about diversity. Executives heard a presentation from civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, who has been urging the tech industry to hire and promote more women and minorities. Nadella repeated an earlier pledge to make that a priority at Microsoft. While the Redmond, Washington company has previously disclosed some workforce statistics, Nadella also promised to release more detailed figures this month from a report that employers must file annually with the federal government.
Nadella's pay largely consists of stock grants that won't vest before 2019, and Microsoft has said they are an incentive for future performance, since his stock will increase in value if the company does well. Nadella was paid a base salary of $918,917 and a $3.6 million (roughly Rs. 22 crores) bonus, along with stock grants valued at $79.8 million (roughly Rs. 494 crores).
That includes a one-time stock grant valued at $59 million (roughly Rs. 365 crores) when he was promoted to CEO, and an earlier grant valued at $7 million (roughly Rs. 43 crores) for his performance as executive vice president before he became CEO. It also includes stock valued at $13.5 million (roughly Rs. 83 crores) that he was granted when Microsoft gave top executives "retention" awards to keep them from jumping ship while the company searched for a successor to Ballmer. Under securities rules, companies must report an estimated value for stock at the time of a grant, even if it can't be exercised right away.
In a report last month, ISS questioned the company's decision to give what it called a "mega grant" of stock up front, since Microsoft also planned to award Nadella a subsequent annual grant valued at $13 million (roughly Rs. 80 crores) in the next fiscal year. ISS also said the company should adopt stricter performance standards for executive compensation.
Microsoft Chairman John Thompson said the company wanted to "attract and motivate a world-class CEO." Thompson said the package is tied to performance and "motivates our CEO to create sustainable long-term shareholder value by providing him with the opportunity to share in those gains and build ownership of the company over the next seven years."

శాసనసభ ఎన్నికల్లో తన సీటుకు ఎసరు వస్తుందని కాని, తన వర్గం వాళ్లకు సీట్లు ఇప్పించుకోలేని పరిస్థితి వస్తుందని కాని ఉహించని తుమ్మల తదనంతర పరిణామాలతో ఖంగు తిన్నాడు. శాసనసభ ఎన్నికల సీట్ల పంపకంలో నామా నాగేశ్వరరావుదే పై చేయి అయింది, ఇద్దరూ ఆ ఎన్నికల్లో ఒకే పార్టీలో ఉన్నాకాని బద్ధ శత్రువుల్లా వ్యవహరించి ఒకరి నొకరు దెబ్బ తీసుకుని వారిరువురు, ఇరువురి అనుచరులు ఓడిపోవటంతో పాటు పార్టీని కూడా ఘోరంగా దెబ్బతీసారు. తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ బలంగా ఉన్న 'ఖమ్మం' పార్లమెంట్, ఖమ్మం అసెంబ్లీ, వైరా, ఇల్లందు, అశ్వారావుపేట, భద్రాచలం అసెంబ్లీ స్థానాల్లో ఆ పార్టీ అభ్యర్ధుల ఓటమికి ఈ ఇద్దరే కారకులయ్యారు. ఆ ఎన్నికల్లో పార్టీపై తుమ్మల తిరుగుబాటు బావుటా ఎగురవేస్తాడని భావించినా, కాంగ్రెస్ వ్యతిరేక నేపధ్యం నుండి వచ్చి, తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ ఆవిర్భావం నుండి ఆ పార్టీలోనే ఉండి జిల్లాలో ముఖ్యమైన పదవులతో పాటు, మంత్రిగా పనిచేసిన తుమ్మల మాత్రం ఎంతో సంయమనం పాటించాడు. ఒకరకంగా నామా నాగేశ్వర రావు మూర్ఖత్వంతో ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలో తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ ఘోరంగా పతనం అయింది.
తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీలో తుమ్మలకు ఏనాడు అన్యాయం జరుగలేదు.. ఖమ్మం జిల్లా పార్టీ అధ్యక్ష పదవి, జిల్లా కేంద్ర సహకార బ్యాంకు అధ్యక్ష పదవి, జిల్లా పరిషత్తు చైర్ పర్సన్ వంటి ముఖ్యమైన పదవులన్నింటిని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు తుమ్మల వర్గం వారికే కట్టబెట్టాడు. ఖమ్మం జిల్లలో కమ్యునిస్టుల ప్రాబల్యానికి చెక్ పెట్టి, తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ ఒంటరిగా ఎదగటానికి తుమ్మల చేసిన కృషి అమూల్యం, ఈ విషయం గుర్తించిన చంద్రబాబు తుమ్మలకు ఎంతో గౌరవం ఇచ్చినా కాని, 2014 ఎన్నికల్లో నామా నాగేశ్వరరావు కు ఇచ్చిన ప్రాధాన్యతకు తుమ్మల అహం దెబ్బతింది.
తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీకి తెలంగాణలో ఇప్పుడప్పుడే కోలుకొనే అవకాశం లేదని గ్రహించిన తుమ్మల ఈ సారి తెరాస అధినేత, ముఖ్యమంత్రి , చిరకాల స్నేహితుడైన చంద్రశేఖర రావు ఈసారి ఇచ్చిన బంపర్ ఆఫర్ను వదలుకోలేకపోయాడు. జంట నగరాలతో పాటు, ఇతర తెలంగాణా జిల్లాల్లో (ఖమ్మం, నల్గొండ, వరంగల్, రంగారెడ్డి, నిజామాబాదు) కనీసం 40 స్థానాల్లో గెలుపోటములపై ప్రభావం చూపించగలిగిన సంఖ్యలో ఉన్న కమ్మవారి ఓట్లు, ఆకర్షించే వ్యూహంలో భాగంగా, మరియు ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలో కేవలం తన సామాజిక వర్గం వారే కాకుండా అన్ని ఇతర వర్గాల్లో మంచి పట్టున్న తుమ్మలకు, కెసిఆర్ 'కేబినేట్ మంత్రి' పదవి ఆఫర్ చేశాడు, రెండో సారి మళ్లీ తలుపు తట్టిన అదృష్టాన్ని వదలుకోటానికి ఇష్టం లేని తుమ్మల తన భారీ అనుచర గణంతో పాటు అయిష్టంగానే అయినా అట్టహాసంగా తెరాస పార్టీలో చేరాడు. అదే సమయంలో తెలుగుదేశం అధినేతపై వ్యక్తిగతంగా కాని, తీవ్ర పదజాలంతో కానీ విమర్శలు చేయకుండా కొంత విజ్ఞత తో వ్యవహరించాడు.
తుమ్మలను అక్టోబర్ ఆఖరు లేదా నవంబర్లో మంత్రివర్గంలోకి తీసుకుంటారని, ఆ తరువాత నిజామాబాదు నుండి శాసన మండలికి ఎంపిక చేస్తారని తెరాస పార్టీలో, వార్తా పత్రికల్లో జోరుగా ప్రచారం జరిగింది. ఆ వార్తలను తెరాస వర్గాలు కాని, తుమ్మల కాని ఖండించలేదు సరికదా!, అనధికారంగా అంగీకరించటం జరిగింది.
తుమ్మలకు మంత్రి పదవి ఇచ్చే ముందు త్వరలో కార్పోరేషన్ ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్న జంటనగరాలతో పాటు , తెలంగాణా జిల్లాల్లో తన సామాజిక వర్గం నాయకులు కొందరినైనా తెరాస పార్టీలోకి కెసిఆర్ షరతు పెట్టాడు. ఆ క్రమంలో తుమ్మల ఖమ్మం జిల్లా మరియు ఇతర తెలంగాణా జిల్లాల్లో తన వర్గం వారికి నచ్చజెప్పి కొందరిని తెరాస వైపు మళ్లించటంలో సఫలీకృతుడైనా... జంట నగరాల్లో తన వర్గం శాసన సభ్యులపై కాని, కార్పొరేటర్ల పై కాని పెద్దగా ప్రభావం చూపలేక పోయాడు. జంట నగరాల్లో స్థిరపడ్డ ఆ వర్గంవారికి తెరాస పార్టీపై వ్యతిరేకత లేకపోయినా... కెసిఆర్ ను మాత్రం పూర్తిగా నమ్మలేకపోతున్నారు. చెప్పేది చేయకపోవటం, చేసేది చెప్పకపోవటం, మాట మీద నిలబడే రకం మనిషి కాకపోవటం (గతంలో తెలంగాణలో తెరాస పార్టీ అధికారంలోకి వస్తే దళితుణ్ణి ముఖ్యమంత్రి చేస్తానని, తెలంగాణా ఇస్తే తెరాస పార్టీని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో విలీనం చేస్తానని ఎన్నో సందర్భాల్లో ప్రకటించిన కెసిఆర్.. తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం ప్రకటించిన తరువాత కాని, తెరాస అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తరువాత కాని తన హామీలను అమలు చేయకుండా వక్రభాష్యాలు వల్లెవేశాడు) వంటి కారణాలతో కెసిఆర్ పైన ఆ వర్గం వారికే కాక ఏ వర్గం వారికి నమ్మకం కుదరటంలేదు. ఒకవేళ కెసిఆర్ తన మాట మీద నిలబడి తుమ్మలకు మంత్రి పదవి కట్టబెట్టిన పక్షంలో ఆయన సామాజిక వర్గానికి చెందివారు ఎందరో తెరాస పార్టీకి మద్దతివ్వటానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నారు.
సమీప కాలంలో జీహెచ్ఎంసీ ఎన్నికలు జరిగే అవకాశం లేకపోవటం... పైగా తుమ్మలకు మంత్రి పదవి ఇచ్చినా కాని ఇప్పటికిప్పుడు పార్టీకి వచ్చే ప్రయోజనం ఏదీ లేకపోవటం వంటి కారణాలతో కెసిఆర్ తుమ్మలకు మంత్రి పదవి అంశాన్ని పూర్తిగా పక్కన పెట్టేశారని తెరాస వర్గాలు అంటున్నాయి. ఈ విషయంలో ఖమ్మం జిల్లాకే చెందిన కెసిఆర్ సామాజిక వర్గానికి చెందిన ఏకైక శాసనసభ్యుడు, రాజకీయాల్లో తుమ్మలకు గత మూడు దశాబ్దాలుగా ప్రత్యర్ధి 'జలగం వెంకటరావు' కూడా అడ్డుపుల్ల వేశారని వినికిడి.
ఖమ్మం జిల్లాకు చెందిన తెరాస శ్రేణులు ఇంతవరకు తమ జిల్లా వారెవరికి మంత్రి వర్గంలో స్థానం కల్పించకపోవటం పైనా, తుమ్మలకు మంత్రి పదవి పైనా పార్టీ అధిష్టాన వర్గానికి ఎన్ని విజ్ఞప్తులు చేస్తున్నా వారిని నుండి స్పందన కరువైంది. దీంతో తుమ్మల వర్గం ఆయనకు మంత్రి పదవిపై ఆశలు వదిలేసుకొని 'నిండా మునిగిన వాడికి చలేంటి!' అంటూ నిట్టూర్పులు విడుస్తున్నారు. ప్రజలకిచ్చిన హామీలే నెరవేర్చని కెసిఆర్ వ్యక్తులకిచ్చిన హామీలు నేరవేరుస్తాడని అనుకోవటం నిజంగా అవివేకమే!
ఓ ఉద్యమ యోధుడి వీర చరిత్ర: 'చండ్ర' ప్రచండుడు
దేశం మనకేమి ఇస్తుందని ఎదురు చూస్తోంది నేటితరం. దేశానికి మనం ఏమి ఇవ్వగలమని ఆలోచించింది వెనకటితరం. స్వాతంత్య్రం, సమసమాజ నిర్మాణం కోసం వ్యక్తిగత జీవితాలను త్యాగాలు చేసింది ఆనాటి తరం. ఏళ్ళతరబడి ఉద్యమాల్లో,అజ్ఞాత వాసంలో గడిపిన ఆనాటి నాయకుల్లో సుప్రసిద్ధులు చండ్ర రాజేశ్వరరావు. కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీకి ఆరున్నర దశాబ్దాల పాటు వివిధ హోదాల్లో సేవలందించిన రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి సంస్మరించుకునే ప్రయత్నమే ఇది.
భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ (సిపిఐ)కి 28 సంవత్సరాల సుదీర్ఘ కాలం నేతృత్వం వహించిన రాజేశ్వరరావు జీవితం వడ్డించిన విస్తరే. ఒడిదుడుకులు లేని బాల్యమే అయినా, 'చిన్ని నా పొట్ట శ్రీరామరక్ష' అని అనుకోకుండా, పేదల కోసం, అణగారిన వర్గాల కోసం పోరాటాలు సాగించిన యోధుడు. సైద్ధాంతిక నిబద్ధతకు, నిజాయితీకీ నిలువుటద్దం. తెలంగాణా సాయుధ పోరాట యోధులతో జతకట్టిన కమ్యూనిస్టు. దేశాధినేతలతోనైనా,సాటి కామ్రెడ్స్తోనైనా తన అభిప్రాయాలను నిక్కచ్చిగా వెల్లడించిన నిర్మొహమాటి. నెహ్రూ,ఇందిరాగాంధీలు తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాల్లో ప్రజోపయోగమైనవాటిని సమర్ధించిన నోటితోనే,వారి నిరంకుశ చర్యలను తెగనాడిన నిష్పక్షపాతి. అపరకర్మలపై నమ్మకం లేకపోయినా ఇచ్చిన మాట ప్రకారం తండ్రి చితికినిప్పు పెట్టి 'రుణం' తీర్చుకున్న నిజాయితీపరుడు
పేదల పక్షాన నిలిచేందుకు తొలిదినాల్లో చల్లపల్లి జమిందార్తో,జాతీయ నాయకునిగా కేంద్రంతో అలుపెరగని పోరాటం సాగించిన యోధుడు.అందుకే,ఆయన పేదల హృదయాల్లో ఇప్పటికీ గూడుకట్టుకుని ఉన్నాడు. చండ్ర రాజేశ్వరరావు భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ తొలితరం అగ్రనాయకుల్లో ఒకరు. ఇంటిపేరుకు తగినట్టుగానే ప్రత్యర్ధులపై చండ్ర నిప్పులు కురిపించేవారు. ఆనాటి తరం నాయకుల్లో కానవచ్చే నిరాడంబరత్వం,నిర్మొహమాటం,నిష్కపటం, నిర్భీతి, నిష్కళంకం వంటి సహజ లక్షణాలన్నీ కలబోసిన వ్యక్తి ఎంత గంభీరమో, మాట కూడా అంతగంభీరమే.ఆనాటితరం వారంతా బహిరంగ సభల్లో మైకులు లేకుండానే మాట్లాడేవారు. రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి భారీ విగ్రహానికి తగినట్టేఆయన స్వరం ఉండేది.అయితే,ఆయన హృదయం వెన్న.
పీడిత,తాడిత జనోద్ధరణ కోసం ఎంతో ఉజ్వలమైన భవిష్యత్ను వదులు కుని కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమ నిర్మాణంలో ప్రముఖ పాత్ర వహించారు.పుచ్చలపల్లి సుందరయ్య, మాకినేని బసవపున్నయ్య, తరిమెల నాగిరెడ్డి,నీలం రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి, చండ్ర రాజేశ్వరరావు అవిభక్త కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ అగ్రనాయకులుగా దశాబ్దాల పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోనే కాక,దేశంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేయడానికి అహర్నిశలు కృషి చేశారు.
కృష్ణా జిల్లా చల్లపల్లి మండలంలోని మంగళాపురం గ్రామంలో 1914 జూన్ ఆరవ తేదీన పెద్ద భూస్వాముల కుటుంబంలో జన్మించిన రాజేశ్వరరావు కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలో చేరిన తరువాత ఆ భూస్వాములకు వ్యతిరేకంగా, భూమి లేని నిరుపేదల తరఫున దశాబ్దాలపాటు పోరాటం జరిపారు. ఆయన తండ్రి సుబ్బయ్యగారి పూర్వీకులు చెంగల్పట్ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన వారు. వ్యవసాయ పనుల నిమిత్తం నెల్లూరు,గుంటూరు జిల్లాలకు వలస వచ్చిన సుబ్బయ్యగారి పూర్వీకులను చల్లపల్లి జమిందార్ తన ఎస్టేట్లో స్థిరపడమని కోరాడు. చల్లపల్లికి నాలుగు వైపులా ఉన్న అడవుల్లో గ్రామాలను నిర్మించేందుకు అనుమతి ఇచ్చాడు. అలా ఏర్పడిన గ్రామాల్లో మంగళాపురం ఒకటి. రాజేశ్వరరావుగారు తల్లి తండ్రులకు మూడో సంతానం.ఆయన తరువాత ఒక చెల్లెలు.ఆయన నాల్గవ ఏటనే తల్లి మరణించడంతో పెద తల్లి, నాయనమ్మ,మేనత్తల పెంపకంలో పెరిగారు.
రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి ప్రాథమిక విద్యాభ్యాసం మంగళాపురంలోనే సాగింది. సెకండరీ విద్య చల్లపల్లిలోనూ సాగింది. బందరు హిందూ స్కూలులో ఎస్సెస్సెల్సీ పూర్తిచేశారు.విద్యార్ధి దశలోనే రాజేశ్వరరావు క్రీడాకారునిగా, పేదల పాలిట ఆత్మీయునిగా పేరొందారు.మనిషి ఆజానుబాహువు కావడం వల్ల ఆయన పేరు చెబితేనే ఆరోజుల్లో రౌడీలు హడలెత్తేవారు. మహాత్మా గాంధీ పిలుపుపై సాగిన ఉప్పు సత్యాగ్రహంలో వలంటీర్గా పని చేశారు. యుక్తవయసులోనే విప్లవ భావాల పట్ల ఆకర్షితులయ్యారు.మహాత్మాగాంధీ ఉద్యమాల్లో పనిచేస్తున్నా, విప్లవ కిశోరాలైన భగత్సింగ్, రాజగురు, సుఖదేవ్ వంటివారి పట్ల ఆరాధనా భావాన్ని పెంచుకున్నారు. బెనారస్ హిందూ యూనివర్శిటీలో చదువుకుంటున్న రోజుల్లోనే ఆయన హిందూ,ముస్లిం ఐక్యత కోసం ఎంతోకృషి చేశారు.కమ్యూనిస్టు నాయకులను ఆనాటి బ్రిటిష్ ప్రభుత్వం మీరట్ కుట్ర కేసులో ఇరికించి జైళ్ళలో పెట్టినప్పుడు వారు విడుదల చేసిన ప్రకటన రాజేశ్వరావును ఉత్తేజపర్చింది.వామపక్ష భావాలున్న విద్యార్ధులందరినీ ఐక్యపర్చి సాటి విద్యార్ధులతో కలిసి ఒక స్టడీ సర్కిల్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.ఆ తరువాత అది 'యంగ్ కమ్యూనిస్టు లీగ్'గా అవతరించింది. చదువుకునే రోజుల్లో ఖర్చుల కోసం తండ్రి పంపే డబ్బులో కొంత మిగల్చుకుని రాజేశ్వరరావు,ఆయన సోదరుడు రామలింగయ్యగారు పేదలకు సాయం చేసేవారు. ఓసారి తల్లికి అలహాబాద్లో పిండప్రదానం చేయమని తండ్రి డబ్బు పంపిస్తే, ఆ డబ్బుతో పేదలకు అన్నదానం చేశారు. ఆ విషయం దాపరికం లేకుండా తండ్రికి తెలియజేయడం ఆయనలోని నిష్కపటత్వానికి నిదర్శనం.
బెనారస్ హిందూ యూనివర్శిటీలో చదువుకునే రోజుల్లోనే మతవాద,మితవాద వర్గాలను ధైర్యంగా ఎదుర్కొన్న ధీశాలి రాజేశ్వరరావు. తరచుగా ఘర్షణలకు దిగడం, కమ్యూనిస్టు వర్గానికి నాయకత్వం వహించడంతో బిఎస్సీ పూర్తి కాకముందే ఆయన యూనివర్శిటీ నుంచి టీసీ తీసుకుని బయటికి వచ్చారు. బెనారస్లో ఉండగానే ఆయన లక్నోలో జరిగిన భారత జాతీయ కాంగ్రెస్ మహాసభలకు హాజరయ్యారు. జవహర్లాల్ నెహ్రూ సోవియట్ రష్యా సందర్శించి వచ్చిన తరువాత సోషలిజం,స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో కార్మిక,కర్షక పాత్ర, వర్గ సం ఘాలు,వర్గ పోరాటాల పేరిట రాసిన వ్యాసాలు రాజేశ్వరరావును విశేషంగా ఆకర్షించాయి.అదే సందర్భంలో ఆయన మహాత్మాగాంధీని కలిసిన విద్యార్ధి బృందంలో ఉన్నారు. ఆ తరువాత ఆయన ఇంటికి వచ్చి తండ్రి గారి అనుమతితో విశాఖలో మెడిసిన్లో చేరారు. అయితే,అక్కడ కూడా ఆయన కమ్యూనిస్టు భావాల ప్రచారానికి నిడమర్తి ఉమారాజేశ్వరరావు ప్రభృతులతో కలిసి స్టడీ సర్కిల్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కమ్యూనిస్టు భావజాలాన్ని విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేశారు. అప్పట్లో ఆంధ్రా యూనివర్శిటీకి భారత రెండవ రాష్ట్రపతి సర్వేపల్లి రాథాకృష్ణన్ వైస్చాన్సలర్గానూ, ప్రొఫెసర్ హిరేన్ ముఖర్జీ అధ్యాపకునిగాను ఉండేవారు.విశాఖలో ఉన్నప్పుడే వివిధ కార్మిక సంఘాల కు నేతృత్వం వహించారు. ఉద్యమంలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొనడం వల్ల ఆయన చదువు బెనారస్లోనూ, విశాఖలోనూ సవ్యంగా సాగలేదు.
తండ్రి అభిమతానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఆయన సావిత్రమ్మగారితో వివాహాన్ని అతి నిరాడంబరంగా దండల మార్పుతో చేసుకున్నారు. వారి వివాహానికి ప్రముఖ స్వాతంత్య్ర యోధుడు మద్దూరి అన్నపూర్ణయ్య పెళ్ళిపెద్దగా వ్యవహించారు. సావిత్రమ్మ కూడా భర్త మార్గంలోనే కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమం ప్రచారం కోసం జీవితాంతం కృషిచేశారు. వివాహానికి గుర్తుగా మెడలో వేసుకున్న గొలుసు రాయిని తీయించి ఎర్ర నక్షత్రాన్ని వేసుకోవడం ఆమె నిబద్ధతకు నిదర్శనం. పార్టీ నిర్ణయం మేరకు పూర్తి కాల కార్యకర్తగా పనిచేయడం కోసం ఆమె శాంతినికేతన్లో చదువుకోవాలనే ఆకాంక్షను బలవంతంగా అణగదొక్కుకున్నారు.
కృష్ణా జిల్లాలో కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ విస్తరణకు రాజేశ్వరరావు దంపతులు విశేషంగా కృషిచేశారు. కార్మిక,కర్షక సంఘాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి, మంగళాపురం కూలీల పోరాటానికి,చల్లపల్లి జమిందారు అక్రమాలపై ఉద్యమానికి నేతృత్వం వహించారు. కృష్ణాజిల్లా తిరువూరు తాలూకాలో నైజాం సరిహద్దున ఉన్న తునికిపాడులో రాజకీయ పాఠశాలకు వచ్చిన రావి నారాయణరెడ్డి,బద్దం ఎల్లారెడ్డి ప్రభృతులు నైజాంలో పరిస్థితి గురించి వివరించారు. ఆ క్రమంలోనే రాజేశ్వరరావుకు ఆరుట్ల లక్ష్మీనరసింహారెడ్డి, రామచంద్రారెడ్డి, దేవులపల్లి వెంకటేశ్వరరావు, చిర్రావూరి లక్ష్మీనరసయ్య ప్రభృతులు కూడా రావడంతో వారందరితో కూడా రాజేశ్వరరావుకు పరిచయాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. క్రమంగా తెలంగాణాలో అనేకసార్లు పర్యటించి తెలంగాణాలో పార్టీ నిర్మాణానికీ,భువనగిరి ఆంధ్ర మహాసభ నిర్వహణకు తోడ్పడ్డారు. తెలంగాణా కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమ అగ్రనాయకులను సమన్వయపర్చడంలో,సాయుధ పోరాటంలో కీలకపాత్ర వహించారు.
భారత విప్లవోద్యమం గురించి స్టాలిన్తో చర్చించేందుకు అజయ్ ఘోష్, ఎస్ఏ డాంగే,బసవపున్నయ్యలతో పాటు రాజేశ్వరరావు మాస్కో వెళ్ళారు. రాజేశ్వరరావు ఎంత పెద్ద నాయకుడైనా ఏమాత్రం అభిజాత్యాన్ని ప్రదర్శించకుండా,నిరంతరం ఏదో తెలుసుకోవాలనే తపనతో ఉండేవారు. పుచ్చలపల్లి సుందరయ్యగారి పట్ల ఎంతో గౌరవం ఉన్నా,అవిభక్త కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ చీలినప్పుడు ఆయన భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీకి నేతృత్వం వహించారు. ఆ తరువాత ఉభయ కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలు కేంద్రంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై ఐక్య పోరాటాలకు నేతృత్వం వహించాయి. 1969లో కాంగ్రెస్ చీలిపోయినప్పుడు ఆనాటిప్రధాని ఇందిరాగాంధీ తీసుకున్న బ్యాంకుల జాతీయకరణ, రాజభరణాల రద్దు వంటి ప్రగతి శీల కార్యక్రమాలకు ఎస్ఎ డాంగే నేతృత్వంలోని భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ (సిపిఐ) మద్దతు ఇచ్చింది.రాజేశ్వరరావు సిద్ధాంతాలతో ఏనాడూ రాజీ పడలేదు.ఇందిర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ప్రగతి శీల చర్యలకు మద్దతు ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ, ఆమె నిరంకుశ పోకడలను తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకించారు, 1970వ దశకంలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో సాగిన భూ ఆక్రమణ ఉద్యమం పార్టీ ప్రతిష్ఠను పెంచింది.అందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించింది. ఈ ఉద్యమం విజయవంతం కావడంలో రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి పాత్ర ఎంతో ఉంది.
రాజేశ్వరరావు పిత్రార్జితంలో వచ్చిన ఆస్తిలో తన వాటాను పూర్తిగా పార్టీకోసం వెచ్చించారు.పార్టీకి ఆయన విరాళంగా ఇచ్చిన లక్షలాది రూపాయిలతోఆరోజుల్లో వందలాది ఎకరాలను కొనగలిగి ఉండేవారు.కానీ,ఆయన ఆస్తులపై మమకారాన్ని ఏనాడూ పెంచుకోలేదు. హైదరాబాద్ చిక్కడపల్లి సొసైటీలో ఇల్లు ఇస్తామన్నా వద్దన్నారు. ట్యాంక్బండ్ సమీపంలో స్థలాన్ని తీసుకోమని మిత్రులు ఎంత కోరినా తీసుకోలేదు.ఆయన ఢిల్లీ వెళ్ళినా,ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళినా పార్టీ కార్యాలయాల్లోనే బస చేసేవారు, తన బట్టలను తానే ఉతుక్కునే వారు. ఎంత ఎదిగినా,ఎంత పేరు ప్రతిష్ఠలు సంపాదించినా ఆయన చివరి వరకూ నిరాడంబరంగానే జీవితం గడిపారు. పంజాబ్లో తీవ్రవాదాన్ని అంతమొందించేందుకు కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ తరఫున ఆయన సాగించిన కృషి మరువ లేనిది.అక్టోబర్ విప్లవం 60వ వార్షికోత్సవాల సందర్భంగా భటిండాలో జరిగిన పార్టీ మహాసభలో ఆమోదించిన తీర్మానం చరిత్రాత్మకమైనది.రాజేశ్వరరావు సోవియట్ యూనియన్లో గోర్బొచెవ్ ప్రవేశపెట్టిన సహకార వ్యవసాయం, కాంట్రాక్ట్ సేద్య విధానాలను రాజేశ్వరరావు సమర్ధించారు. దీనిపై ఆయన పార్టీ పత్రిక న్యూ ఏజ్లో వ్యాసం రాస్తూ భూముల్ని 25 నుంచి 35 సంవత్సరాల పాటు కౌలుకు ఇవ్వడం వల్ల భూసారాన్ని కాపాడబడుతుందనీ, ఉత్పత్తి పెరుగుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.సోవియట్ యూనియన్ కుప్పకూలిన తరువాత సంభవించిన పరిణామాల పట్ల ఆయన చివరి రోజుల్లో ఎంతో కలత చెందారు.
పాలస్తీనా విమోచనా ఉద్యమానికి మద్దతు ప్రకటించారు.ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడ ప్రగతి శీల పోరాటాలు జరిగినా వాటికి ఆయన మద్దతు ప్రకటించేవారు. ఉభయ కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలు అనేక సమస్యలపై ఒకే అభిప్రాయాన్ని కలిగి ఉన్నప్పటికీ, సిపిఎం వ్యతిరేకధోరణి వల్ల ఉభయ కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీల పునరేకీకరణ ప్రక్రియ ఆలస్యమవుతోందని ఆవేదన చెందేవారు.అమెరికా సామ్రాజ్యవాదానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా పోరాటాలు జరిపిన ప్రపంచ దేశాలకు భారత కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ అండగా నిలవడంలో రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి పాత్ర ఎంతో ఉంది. ఆయన ఎన్నో పురస్కారాలను పొందినప్పటికీ, 1974 లో పొందిన సోవియట్ యూనియన్ అత్యంత ప్రతిష్ఠాకరమైన ఆర్డర్ ఆఫ్ లెనిన్ పురస్కారం మకుటాయమానమైనది. సుదీర్ఘకాలం పార్టీకోసం అహర్నిశలు కృషిచేసిన రాజేశ్వరరావు ఎనభైయవ ఏట 1994 ఏప్రిల్ 9వ తేదీన హైదరాబాద్లో కన్నుమూశారు. ఆయన పేరిట హైదరాబాద్ సిఆర్ ఫౌండేషన్ పని చేస్తోంది. కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమ వ్యాప్తి కోసం అలుపెరగని పోరాటం సాగించిన రాజేశ్వరరావు ఆ ఉద్యమ ధ్రువతారగా చిరస్మరణీయులు. డా కిలారు పూర్ణచంద్రరావు
భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ (సిపిఐ)కి 28 సంవత్సరాల సుదీర్ఘ కాలం నేతృత్వం వహించిన రాజేశ్వరరావు జీవితం వడ్డించిన విస్తరే. ఒడిదుడుకులు లేని బాల్యమే అయినా, 'చిన్ని నా పొట్ట శ్రీరామరక్ష' అని అనుకోకుండా, పేదల కోసం, అణగారిన వర్గాల కోసం పోరాటాలు సాగించిన యోధుడు. సైద్ధాంతిక నిబద్ధతకు, నిజాయితీకీ నిలువుటద్దం. తెలంగాణా సాయుధ పోరాట యోధులతో జతకట్టిన కమ్యూనిస్టు. దేశాధినేతలతోనైనా,సాటి కామ్రెడ్స్తోనైనా తన అభిప్రాయాలను నిక్కచ్చిగా వెల్లడించిన నిర్మొహమాటి. నెహ్రూ,ఇందిరాగాంధీలు తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాల్లో ప్రజోపయోగమైనవాటిని సమర్ధించిన నోటితోనే,వారి నిరంకుశ చర్యలను తెగనాడిన నిష్పక్షపాతి. అపరకర్మలపై నమ్మకం లేకపోయినా ఇచ్చిన మాట ప్రకారం తండ్రి చితికినిప్పు పెట్టి 'రుణం' తీర్చుకున్న నిజాయితీపరుడు
పేదల పక్షాన నిలిచేందుకు తొలిదినాల్లో చల్లపల్లి జమిందార్తో,జాతీయ నాయకునిగా కేంద్రంతో అలుపెరగని పోరాటం సాగించిన యోధుడు.అందుకే,ఆయన పేదల హృదయాల్లో ఇప్పటికీ గూడుకట్టుకుని ఉన్నాడు. చండ్ర రాజేశ్వరరావు భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ తొలితరం అగ్రనాయకుల్లో ఒకరు. ఇంటిపేరుకు తగినట్టుగానే ప్రత్యర్ధులపై చండ్ర నిప్పులు కురిపించేవారు. ఆనాటి తరం నాయకుల్లో కానవచ్చే నిరాడంబరత్వం,నిర్మొహమాటం,నిష్కపటం, నిర్భీతి, నిష్కళంకం వంటి సహజ లక్షణాలన్నీ కలబోసిన వ్యక్తి ఎంత గంభీరమో, మాట కూడా అంతగంభీరమే.ఆనాటితరం వారంతా బహిరంగ సభల్లో మైకులు లేకుండానే మాట్లాడేవారు. రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి భారీ విగ్రహానికి తగినట్టేఆయన స్వరం ఉండేది.అయితే,ఆయన హృదయం వెన్న.
పీడిత,తాడిత జనోద్ధరణ కోసం ఎంతో ఉజ్వలమైన భవిష్యత్ను వదులు కుని కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమ నిర్మాణంలో ప్రముఖ పాత్ర వహించారు.పుచ్చలపల్లి సుందరయ్య, మాకినేని బసవపున్నయ్య, తరిమెల నాగిరెడ్డి,నీలం రాజశేఖరరెడ్డి, చండ్ర రాజేశ్వరరావు అవిభక్త కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ అగ్రనాయకులుగా దశాబ్దాల పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోనే కాక,దేశంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేయడానికి అహర్నిశలు కృషి చేశారు.
కృష్ణా జిల్లా చల్లపల్లి మండలంలోని మంగళాపురం గ్రామంలో 1914 జూన్ ఆరవ తేదీన పెద్ద భూస్వాముల కుటుంబంలో జన్మించిన రాజేశ్వరరావు కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలో చేరిన తరువాత ఆ భూస్వాములకు వ్యతిరేకంగా, భూమి లేని నిరుపేదల తరఫున దశాబ్దాలపాటు పోరాటం జరిపారు. ఆయన తండ్రి సుబ్బయ్యగారి పూర్వీకులు చెంగల్పట్ ప్రాంతానికి చెందిన వారు. వ్యవసాయ పనుల నిమిత్తం నెల్లూరు,గుంటూరు జిల్లాలకు వలస వచ్చిన సుబ్బయ్యగారి పూర్వీకులను చల్లపల్లి జమిందార్ తన ఎస్టేట్లో స్థిరపడమని కోరాడు. చల్లపల్లికి నాలుగు వైపులా ఉన్న అడవుల్లో గ్రామాలను నిర్మించేందుకు అనుమతి ఇచ్చాడు. అలా ఏర్పడిన గ్రామాల్లో మంగళాపురం ఒకటి. రాజేశ్వరరావుగారు తల్లి తండ్రులకు మూడో సంతానం.ఆయన తరువాత ఒక చెల్లెలు.ఆయన నాల్గవ ఏటనే తల్లి మరణించడంతో పెద తల్లి, నాయనమ్మ,మేనత్తల పెంపకంలో పెరిగారు.
రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి ప్రాథమిక విద్యాభ్యాసం మంగళాపురంలోనే సాగింది. సెకండరీ విద్య చల్లపల్లిలోనూ సాగింది. బందరు హిందూ స్కూలులో ఎస్సెస్సెల్సీ పూర్తిచేశారు.విద్యార్ధి దశలోనే రాజేశ్వరరావు క్రీడాకారునిగా, పేదల పాలిట ఆత్మీయునిగా పేరొందారు.మనిషి ఆజానుబాహువు కావడం వల్ల ఆయన పేరు చెబితేనే ఆరోజుల్లో రౌడీలు హడలెత్తేవారు. మహాత్మా గాంధీ పిలుపుపై సాగిన ఉప్పు సత్యాగ్రహంలో వలంటీర్గా పని చేశారు. యుక్తవయసులోనే విప్లవ భావాల పట్ల ఆకర్షితులయ్యారు.మహాత్మాగాంధీ ఉద్యమాల్లో పనిచేస్తున్నా, విప్లవ కిశోరాలైన భగత్సింగ్, రాజగురు, సుఖదేవ్ వంటివారి పట్ల ఆరాధనా భావాన్ని పెంచుకున్నారు. బెనారస్ హిందూ యూనివర్శిటీలో చదువుకుంటున్న రోజుల్లోనే ఆయన హిందూ,ముస్లిం ఐక్యత కోసం ఎంతోకృషి చేశారు.కమ్యూనిస్టు నాయకులను ఆనాటి బ్రిటిష్ ప్రభుత్వం మీరట్ కుట్ర కేసులో ఇరికించి జైళ్ళలో పెట్టినప్పుడు వారు విడుదల చేసిన ప్రకటన రాజేశ్వరావును ఉత్తేజపర్చింది.వామపక్ష భావాలున్న విద్యార్ధులందరినీ ఐక్యపర్చి సాటి విద్యార్ధులతో కలిసి ఒక స్టడీ సర్కిల్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.ఆ తరువాత అది 'యంగ్ కమ్యూనిస్టు లీగ్'గా అవతరించింది. చదువుకునే రోజుల్లో ఖర్చుల కోసం తండ్రి పంపే డబ్బులో కొంత మిగల్చుకుని రాజేశ్వరరావు,ఆయన సోదరుడు రామలింగయ్యగారు పేదలకు సాయం చేసేవారు. ఓసారి తల్లికి అలహాబాద్లో పిండప్రదానం చేయమని తండ్రి డబ్బు పంపిస్తే, ఆ డబ్బుతో పేదలకు అన్నదానం చేశారు. ఆ విషయం దాపరికం లేకుండా తండ్రికి తెలియజేయడం ఆయనలోని నిష్కపటత్వానికి నిదర్శనం.
బెనారస్ హిందూ యూనివర్శిటీలో చదువుకునే రోజుల్లోనే మతవాద,మితవాద వర్గాలను ధైర్యంగా ఎదుర్కొన్న ధీశాలి రాజేశ్వరరావు. తరచుగా ఘర్షణలకు దిగడం, కమ్యూనిస్టు వర్గానికి నాయకత్వం వహించడంతో బిఎస్సీ పూర్తి కాకముందే ఆయన యూనివర్శిటీ నుంచి టీసీ తీసుకుని బయటికి వచ్చారు. బెనారస్లో ఉండగానే ఆయన లక్నోలో జరిగిన భారత జాతీయ కాంగ్రెస్ మహాసభలకు హాజరయ్యారు. జవహర్లాల్ నెహ్రూ సోవియట్ రష్యా సందర్శించి వచ్చిన తరువాత సోషలిజం,స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో కార్మిక,కర్షక పాత్ర, వర్గ సం ఘాలు,వర్గ పోరాటాల పేరిట రాసిన వ్యాసాలు రాజేశ్వరరావును విశేషంగా ఆకర్షించాయి.అదే సందర్భంలో ఆయన మహాత్మాగాంధీని కలిసిన విద్యార్ధి బృందంలో ఉన్నారు. ఆ తరువాత ఆయన ఇంటికి వచ్చి తండ్రి గారి అనుమతితో విశాఖలో మెడిసిన్లో చేరారు. అయితే,అక్కడ కూడా ఆయన కమ్యూనిస్టు భావాల ప్రచారానికి నిడమర్తి ఉమారాజేశ్వరరావు ప్రభృతులతో కలిసి స్టడీ సర్కిల్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కమ్యూనిస్టు భావజాలాన్ని విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేశారు. అప్పట్లో ఆంధ్రా యూనివర్శిటీకి భారత రెండవ రాష్ట్రపతి సర్వేపల్లి రాథాకృష్ణన్ వైస్చాన్సలర్గానూ, ప్రొఫెసర్ హిరేన్ ముఖర్జీ అధ్యాపకునిగాను ఉండేవారు.విశాఖలో ఉన్నప్పుడే వివిధ కార్మిక సంఘాల కు నేతృత్వం వహించారు. ఉద్యమంలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొనడం వల్ల ఆయన చదువు బెనారస్లోనూ, విశాఖలోనూ సవ్యంగా సాగలేదు.
తండ్రి అభిమతానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఆయన సావిత్రమ్మగారితో వివాహాన్ని అతి నిరాడంబరంగా దండల మార్పుతో చేసుకున్నారు. వారి వివాహానికి ప్రముఖ స్వాతంత్య్ర యోధుడు మద్దూరి అన్నపూర్ణయ్య పెళ్ళిపెద్దగా వ్యవహించారు. సావిత్రమ్మ కూడా భర్త మార్గంలోనే కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమం ప్రచారం కోసం జీవితాంతం కృషిచేశారు. వివాహానికి గుర్తుగా మెడలో వేసుకున్న గొలుసు రాయిని తీయించి ఎర్ర నక్షత్రాన్ని వేసుకోవడం ఆమె నిబద్ధతకు నిదర్శనం. పార్టీ నిర్ణయం మేరకు పూర్తి కాల కార్యకర్తగా పనిచేయడం కోసం ఆమె శాంతినికేతన్లో చదువుకోవాలనే ఆకాంక్షను బలవంతంగా అణగదొక్కుకున్నారు.
కృష్ణా జిల్లాలో కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ విస్తరణకు రాజేశ్వరరావు దంపతులు విశేషంగా కృషిచేశారు. కార్మిక,కర్షక సంఘాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి, మంగళాపురం కూలీల పోరాటానికి,చల్లపల్లి జమిందారు అక్రమాలపై ఉద్యమానికి నేతృత్వం వహించారు. కృష్ణాజిల్లా తిరువూరు తాలూకాలో నైజాం సరిహద్దున ఉన్న తునికిపాడులో రాజకీయ పాఠశాలకు వచ్చిన రావి నారాయణరెడ్డి,బద్దం ఎల్లారెడ్డి ప్రభృతులు నైజాంలో పరిస్థితి గురించి వివరించారు. ఆ క్రమంలోనే రాజేశ్వరరావుకు ఆరుట్ల లక్ష్మీనరసింహారెడ్డి, రామచంద్రారెడ్డి, దేవులపల్లి వెంకటేశ్వరరావు, చిర్రావూరి లక్ష్మీనరసయ్య ప్రభృతులు కూడా రావడంతో వారందరితో కూడా రాజేశ్వరరావుకు పరిచయాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి. క్రమంగా తెలంగాణాలో అనేకసార్లు పర్యటించి తెలంగాణాలో పార్టీ నిర్మాణానికీ,భువనగిరి ఆంధ్ర మహాసభ నిర్వహణకు తోడ్పడ్డారు. తెలంగాణా కమ్యూనిస్టు ఉద్యమ అగ్రనాయకులను సమన్వయపర్చడంలో,సాయుధ పోరాటంలో కీలకపాత్ర వహించారు.
భారత విప్లవోద్యమం గురించి స్టాలిన్తో చర్చించేందుకు అజయ్ ఘోష్, ఎస్ఏ డాంగే,బసవపున్నయ్యలతో పాటు రాజేశ్వరరావు మాస్కో వెళ్ళారు. రాజేశ్వరరావు ఎంత పెద్ద నాయకుడైనా ఏమాత్రం అభిజాత్యాన్ని ప్రదర్శించకుండా,నిరంతరం ఏదో తెలుసుకోవాలనే తపనతో ఉండేవారు. పుచ్చలపల్లి సుందరయ్యగారి పట్ల ఎంతో గౌరవం ఉన్నా,అవిభక్త కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ చీలినప్పుడు ఆయన భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీకి నేతృత్వం వహించారు. ఆ తరువాత ఉభయ కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీలు కేంద్రంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై ఐక్య పోరాటాలకు నేతృత్వం వహించాయి. 1969లో కాంగ్రెస్ చీలిపోయినప్పుడు ఆనాటిప్రధాని ఇందిరాగాంధీ తీసుకున్న బ్యాంకుల జాతీయకరణ, రాజభరణాల రద్దు వంటి ప్రగతి శీల కార్యక్రమాలకు ఎస్ఎ డాంగే నేతృత్వంలోని భారత కమ్యూనిస్టు పార్టీ (సిపిఐ) మద్దతు ఇచ్చింది.రాజేశ్వరరావు సిద్ధాంతాలతో ఏనాడూ రాజీ పడలేదు.ఇందిర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ప్రగతి శీల చర్యలకు మద్దతు ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ, ఆమె నిరంకుశ పోకడలను తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకించారు, 1970వ దశకంలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కమ్యూనిస్టుపార్టీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో సాగిన భూ ఆక్రమణ ఉద్యమం పార్టీ ప్రతిష్ఠను పెంచింది.అందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించింది. ఈ ఉద్యమం విజయవంతం కావడంలో రాజేశ్వరరావుగారి పాత్ర ఎంతో ఉంది.

Angel investments have been on the rise in India, primarily driven by successful tech entrepreneurs and top corporate professionals who want to put in their spare cash in startups which are likely to make it big or win large venture capital funds. The angel movement kicked off in mid-2000 with the formation of networks such as Indian Angel Network, Mumbai Angels and Chennai Angels; it has now spread across the country with several high-net-worth individuals showing the risk appetite for investing in startups and emergence of newer platforms like Lead Angels, LetsVenture, among others.
Anumolu Srinivas, a finance and software professional, has been an entrepreneur besides working at senior positions in various organisations. Following his studies, Anumolu joined Barra, Inc. in 1990, as a Product Manager and later went on to become a director at New York Life. He quit his job to start his entrepreneurial venture by launching Elance, an online service for freelancers that aggregates freelance workers in programming, design, writing, sales, finance and a range of other industries. In 2005, Anumolu accepted an additional, short-term position as a director of ecommerce at Amazon India, where he helped to develop products and business strategies.
Anumolu graduated from the Bachelor of Science programme at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Subsequently, he secured a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He later completed Ph D coursework in finance, economics and statistics at Anderson School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles.
